I want to know how to make a full screen apllication with MFC.
im working on this little application for myself... when its done i want it to take screen shots of the entire screen at a given time. like every hour for example. right now im still stuck on the fist part. how to you take a full screen screen shot? anyone know? i know the crtl + PrtSc option, but i want to make an application which can do it by itself. so far i only found public sub command1_Click()Me.PrintFormEnd Subbut thats no use as it only takes a picture of the application. i need the whole screen. please help. have been trying to figure out for days...

So I just made the switch to Ubuntu as my primary OS. I am running Windoze in a VMware Server box for the few programs I need which won't run in Linux. I've got Compiz Fusion up and running and it is awesome. Looking forward to exposing some unsuspecting Windows user to Linux ;)Anyhow, when I switch to full screen mode for VMware the Windows desktop is semi-transparent. I've looked around in CompizConfig and tried some different settings but can't seem to find the one that increases opacity for this particular situation. Is there a way to make a full screen window completely opaque?

Previous I had a good working mythbuntu install 9.xx. I found it frustrating to not have a full ubuntu setup. So when I had a hd fail I decided to do a ubuntu from the start and then add mythbuntu. I have finally got it working again. I have a question though. I loved the fact in mythbuntu it was full screen. guys, I'm having issues with VBA 1.8.0. Anytime I attempt to play a game the framerate is horrible. I've created a SDI MFC application. For the main window, I've splitted the window into 2 windows. The left window will run CFormView class and it would be the control panel. Then, the right window will run CView class which would be the 3D rendering view.Then recently, I just want to add Full Screen mode when we double click the mouse. guys, I'm using Visual Studio .NET 2003 to assemble and execute my 16BIT assembly code. To do this, I am using 2 seperate external tools (custom build). guys, I am trying to duplicate a Flash gallery for a friend using, well, not Flash ;) I have the Colorbox plugin implemented and am trying to find a way to have a button, "Full Screen" that when clicked it will 'lightbox' open and fill the entire monitor area, not just the browser. I want to implement the same functionality in my app.For example, I have some dialogues and one of them is displaying a Graph. So I want the user to have a fullscreen view if he so desires. I've been Googling all day and cannot find the answer. I find all the "GUI" ways to do it through Gnome and KDE but I'm not using either...I have an EEE PC set to boot up automatically to openbox and want Firefox to start after that in a full screen openbox window.I've tried adding the firefox command to ~/.initrc but it won't execute. i was thinking about trying my hand at programming (once again) so I picked up my trusty ol' VB6...and it hit me.. I have no clue as to where to start, as i've just forgotten about everything i've learned. A great start would be muchly appreciated. I was trying to make a little game that involves a MDI, but I would like the parent window to become full screen. Is that possible, or did I just hit the celing of VB6's limitations?
