    I'm having a problem with a query that contains ORDER BY and LIMIT, acting on a table with 800,000 rows. The query always returns an error: ERROR 3 (HY000): Error writing file '/tmp/MYRnGdTq' (Errcode: 28) However, the /tmp filesystem has 800MB of free space so I don't think that's the real problem. The query is basically: select max(timestamp) from mytable group by somecolumn order by 1 limit 10 If I remove EITHER the "limit" or the "order by" clause, the query runs to completion.
